Unfortunately, even though the Cardinals won while we were at the game, they came up just short of making the playoffs this year. Now we're left to root for my new favorite team, the Anybody-playing-against-the-Cubs. Let's go Anybody-playing-against-the-Cubs!
We're also getting excited for the new Star Wars movie, Rogue One. Have you guys been watching the new season of Star Wars Rebels? Good stuff so far; Uncle Joe was excited to see Wedge Antilles.
Uncle Joe and Aunt Christine have started our own little backyard farm. We repurposed some of the railroad ties from our backyard to build a nice above ground garden. Bantry and Gulliver love it, but not for the potential veggies...
Aunt Christine, Uncle Joe, and Grandpa will be participating in the GO! St. Louis Halloween run this coming weekend. Uncle Joe has been running much more and has really been enjoying the weather out on the Katy Trail.
Not too much else going on around our parts. We love hearing about what the UK Millers are up to. Uncle Joe and Aunt Christine are going to learn more about where you guys live tonight by watching a highly recommended Netflix documentary starring Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman called London Has Fallen. Looks intense. Miss you guys!

ReplyDeleteGlad to see you running again. I miss places like the Katy trail to run. London is pretty and interesting, but traffic and people can be a problem. The parks are fine, but small. Regents is only a 4.5 KM(Kilometers what people outside the US use to measure distance) loop around.
I have been checking the scores hoping to see the God damn Dodgers win. It hurts a little, but I with you on the F-the cubs.
We are still trying to get our NHL package up and running. I have been watching highlights, but want more.
We have been watching Rebel and are waiting for the release of the Ahsoka book. I am in book 2 of the Aftermath trilogy. We are also waiting for the start of The Grand Tour with the old Top Gear guys. I have been trying to get tickets, but no luck so far.
We have Scott coming this weekend and get our first try at tour guides. I think we have a fun week planned for him. Kids are looking forward to Harry Potter World.
Dad says that you are thinking about joining the Germany trip in the Autumn(That is what Brits call Fall). If you want to add on sometime here in London let me know. You can usually get pretty cheap flights to Germany from London. Gotta love that RyanAir. That would be great time. That is the trip I am most excited about. Sarah has all these plans of Italy and I am just not that into it. She also wants to do Greece. I am not sure how I feel about that one.
